Finding the Perfect Music

Unless you’re a musician, finding the perfect audio for your Instagram videos can be difficult. You can easily get tangled in copyright issues, and buying music for every video you post to Instagram can get pricey—especially if you post multiple times per week. The good news is that our library has a wide variety of royalty-free music to fit all of your Instagram video needs. You no longer have to spend hours wandering around the internet to find that perfect song. Take a listen to a few tracks and head over to our library to find the perfect fit for your video.

Adding Music to Your Instagram Video

It’s important to note that Instagram has a time limit of 60 seconds for videos. This means that you’ll probably have to cut your music short, which doesn’t always sound great. One of the best music editing tricks to learn is how to cut music. If you can do this, then you can make any song match the length of your video—no matter how long the song is.

Adding music to your Instagram videos couldn’t be any easier, and you can do it in pretty much any video editor. You can even find editing apps that allow you to add music to your videos right on your phone. There are several options out there, but we’re going to use Adobe Premiere for this tutorial. No matter what software you use, the concept is the same.

Step 1: Import your music track

Step 2: Drag and drop the music track into the timeline underneath the video

Step 3: Adjust the length of the music track to fit the length of the video

Step 4: Add a fade-in and a fade-out to the music track

Once you put the finishing touches on your video, it’s ready to export and upload! Check out the video that we made with this tutorial to see the difference that music can make.

It’s time to get started on your next Instagram video! Browse our audio library to find some musical inspiration.
